SNS + NVC Team-up for
Kids Peace Retreat - Atlanta, Georgia, USA
The dozen member strong SNS Atlanta teacher team is comprised of some certified Nonviolent Communication (NVC) instructors, so it was natural to combine forces and create the first-ever children's NVC training. Combined with SNS spiritual principles of peace, unity and ONEness, the three-day event was a gigantic "peaceful success!" Emails have flooded in saying that each family is discussing peace all the time. Now that's bringing the new spirituality into every day life! Stay tuned -- NVC founder Dr. Marshall Rosenberg sang with our retreat students "See Me Beautiful" while playing his guitar. We will post that DVD soon.
SNS teacher teams just completed a five-day children's retreat, which ran concurrently with Neale Donald Walsch's adult "Home with God" Spiritual Retreat in Victoria, British Columbia. Photos of this stellar event highlighting "Love Your Self- Lead Your Dreams into Your Life!" are forthcoming. A second NDW event - the World ONEness Peace Tour will come through Atlanta, where SNS will offer a children's retreat for ages 4-18, April 27, 28, 29th. Another SNS young leader's retreat will be held in Palm Springs, California concurrently with the Institute of Noetic Sciences conference, August 10,11,12,2007. SNS will collaborate with all sorts of adult teams offering spiritual retreats or conferences.
