Dr. Chilton's quote from the interdenominational, peace-building professional leadership program of the Institute of Advanced Theology, Bard College: "In recent years, it has become dramatically self-evident as to the importance of such a program for all faiths- one that may provide a window into the views of those of other religions, in a way that will yield deepened respect, enriched understanding, and greater empathy and compassion. This process will be informed not just by the historical and analytical study of theology and religion, but also by an ongoing dialogue among the students and the scholars (teachers)…leading the program".

Dr. Chilton's aim as NS-U founding professor is to bring the in-depth understanding, inherent in learning together, to the fore in tangible ways to actively practice peace and unity. chilton@bard.edu
