SNS November Update Peace Begins at Home - and Your Choice Can Begin NOW. Hundreds of emails are now pouring into SNS monthly. Wonderfully spiritual, highly informed, and incredibly dedicated individuals ask: what is the quickest way to open an SNS program? Do you want to know what you can do now, to help create peace within young people, their families, our communities, and our world? This month we focus homepage space on some answers. Here's how to choose a way to bring one of our programs into form within your town, city, country, continent - our world. Open an SNS Program NOW ! 
1) Talk about the New Spirituality works and messages with family, friends and community members. Clarify your common beliefs together. See tips on our STEPS page Table of Contents.2) Create a founding team focused on what kind of program you wish to bring to form. 5-24 people is a good number for your founding team' especially include young people in the age group you wish to serve. Check out Steps: our FREE how-to's and SNS STEPS 1,2,3 & 4 3) Meet and make a plan for your business goals and your enrichment education plan. Write SNS UNITs and mini-lesson on your program classes and offerings.

The School of the New Spirituality is a 501(c)3 non-profit education organization over five years strong. Within our website is a wealth of in-depth, practiced enrichment education guidance. SNS aims to ecreate the world anew by opening enrichment education classes, courses, retreats, Saturday fun days, vacation and summer camp programs for young people and their adult leaders. September 16th, 2006 The enrichment after hours programs termed "Schools" under the umbrella of the School of the New Spirituality are opening their doors! And we are not too soon. Amid the news and media stories grounded in ancient quotes and old paradigm reactions, leaders of New Spirituality book clubs, classes and year long courses that comprise the School of the New Spirituality are stepping into their calling, their leadership. Peace education is a way to lead our children into a brighter future. Here are a few updates, given in the spirit that more will be shared as agreements develop into fully attended programs. We trust you'll be moved to sign into our database now and get involved in your part of the world. You could tele-help by e-mailing/writing SNS mini-lessons, UNITS and grants. You may contact the links below to see how you may assist. If you live or frequently travel near an SNS site locale, please visit and become a tangible supporter or even member of their founding teams. Lastly, and by no means least, consider registering for the first SNS Course #1 where I will walk individuals and groups through the process of creating an enrichment program for children or adults right in your own backyard.
Canada Countrywide SNS Prospectus is under review for a multi-location after school enrichment program for young people. Ontario Our webmaster extraordinaire, Paige McIvor, M.Div., has become an integral part of the SNS Team. If you like what you see on our website, send us your comments and of course any upgrade suggestions. We've been working diligently to bring you an easy-access portal to New Spirituality materials and venues to build a strong and generational global collaborative! France Toulon (30 miles from Nice) Bliss Yoga Center - Anne Marie Barbier Chopra certified teacher teaches primordial sound meditation, yoga and plans a CwG Book Club Finland Irja Peltola, a devoted New Spirituality student, is a professional who is also a consummate researcher. Irja has volunteered to compile a "concordance" of the Conversations with God book material for use in practically applying the specific New Spirituality principles and topics clearly addressed in the first three CwG books. The first of the three CwG indexed compilations will be available on the SNS website early in 2007. What a gift to the world, Irja. These indices will serve as highly valuable learning tools for all ages. South Africa Port Elizabeth HeartLight Learning Community offers all ages New Spirituality training courses. Since 2002 John Ryan, a HeartLight South African Trust leader and Christine Ryan, a HeartLight volunteer, have been implementing the New Spirituality. We are discussing a next phase of collaboration with SNS and will be meeting/visiting together in Atlanta in October. One collaborative effort already underway is encouraging and assisting the Humanity's Team Education Committee in Pretoria, South Africa, lead by the fabulously committed-to-children leader, Elmi Duvel. Pretoria SNS Unit author and Humanity's Team Co-Leader, Elmi Duvel, is visioning an education program with the Humanity's Team Education Committee. More on this enrichment program for children as it develops; collaboration and guidance locally with John Ryan and the HeartLight Learning Community some 800 miles away in Port Elizabeth. The world is a tiny place when like-hearts work together. India New Hampshire resident and businesswoman Nilanjana Krishnan has a 2-3 year plan to establish SNS India with her educator sister. Nilanjana and I have collaborated on many planning levels thus far including an SNS UNIT called "Every Truth Resides in YOU" (posted for download under Steps). Nilanjana flies to Atlanta for the CwG Movie premiere and further SNS training in October). USA Georgia Atlanta Inner Space Learning Center - Sherry & John Henderson "SNS Atlanta" has a fifteen-member teacher team offering the first Saturday of the month: Wows ! -- "A Taste of SNS in Workshops on Weekends" for ages 9-14; an after school program is planned when the baseline quantity of students are registered. An SNS prototype after school program and international teaching center envisioned. Click "Programs" and see the Atlanta scheduled offerings in action already. Local SNS Director: Christina Semple. Atlanta area: Woodstock A group of women under the co-leadership of Deborah Ingersoll & Pat Keegan has established a twice monthly New Spirituality Book Club; presently deciding on which book to place into practical life-application first: CwG Book 1 + Workbook or Part of the Change book + workbook, followed by a group consent Tennessee Eighty acres of family land owned by New Spirituality leader and teacher Karen Coffey of Atlanta, is to be an SNS camp next summer 2007. Humanities Team members are readying the property for a visit from John and Christine Ryan from the HeartLight Learning Community in South Africa who will join me on October 13 to trek the property and commune with nature. Please send your prayers and positive, peace-filled energies to us on that day. Focused attention on SNS intentions is a concrete way you may actively assist our enrichment education programs. Oregon Ashland Collaborative rental space is leased and will be shared by Ashland New Spirituality community teachers to offer a compendium of courses. Pot-Luck discussion groups have begun, after school/after hours retreats/camps for young people, "Grand-Parenting" Parent Workshops are available. Collaboration with several leaders; more to come as alliances are agreed. Co-Leaders: Brian Bedggood and Angela Schuster; SNS program prototype and teacher training/apprenticeships are envisioned. California Corona The Awareness Center & The Awareness Institute, owned by Marisa Ryan, are set to start grassroots SNS classes for parents & young people which may evolve into a weekly (or more often) after school program; a family retreat is already planned for May 2007 in Corona. A goal is to convene (with kids at the helm) the first Get Motivated for KIDS! conference with plans to organize this event to involve several California civic organizations when a date can be secured. Oakland Matthew Fox & Professor Pitt are introducing "The A.W.E. Project." Creation-Spirituality scholar. His Oakland, California inner city after school program is enumerated in his new book: The A.W.E. Project. SNS after school programs will be continually in collaboration with The A.W.E. Project as they network across the globe. Plans are to submit grant applications and develop a strong venue for scholarships for all of our programs. We need grant-writing volunteers. Email us now at alecia@SchooloftheNewSpirituality.com San Bernadino Arvel and Bobbie Chapell and "The Metaphysical Institute" (TMI) have taught metaphysics Masters and Doctorate level students for over a dozen years. SNS and TMI are poised to collaborate by featuring in the SNS web-store "Eyes Wide Open" a powerful chakra/bell meditation CD meant for all ages created by the Chapell's. More cooperation and possible leadership co-training are in development between TMI & SNS. New York An anonymous NYC attorney has pledged pro bono to apply and obtain SNS trademark ™ and servicemarks SM in the next months. This is a legal "branding" process implementing inspired words in vision, mission and aim statements, tag lines, and specific phrases that depict the Essence of SNS and its mission in the world. "Recreating the World Anew through Education." The trademark/servicemarks will be utilized in our evolving SNS certification processes. If you wish to input on this process, fill out our TM and SM survey. Texas Dallas Long-time CwG center leader and educator Louise Kimbrel is planning a young people's New Spirituality group. Louise is flying to Atlanta for custom SNS training. Virginia Virginia Beach As a result of my visit in August to the Edgar Cayce Library, the Association of Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) team comprised of leaders in Youth, Education, Conferences and Development have pledged to collaborate with SNS to serve children in a broader program. Collaboration will help enlarge and embrace possibilities for families across the world! SNS Scholarships The first donation arrived for the SNS Atlanta students from a generous donor. We have developed a process for gifting 10 students SNS WOWs ! -- Workshops on Weekends -- which offer a Taste of SNS programming, to build a student body for the SNS Atlanta after school program. Fundraising dinners and Neale Donald Walsch salons are planned to generate scholarship funding and will be part of the Atlanta events surrounding the CwG Movie premiere in Atlanta Oct 10 and 11th. You Can Help. August 17th, 2006 Peace Begins at Home SNS programs are forming by numerous founding teams with rich and variant cultural traditions. We embrace human diversity because SNS is interdenominational and non-denominational as we honor and unveil common ground between us all. SNS offers enrichment education and programs for children and adults that empower the spirit of each person -- leader and learner alike. An aim of the School of the New Spirituality is developing daily peace. In choosing to listen with intentionality to understand, our families, neighbors, and communities shift toward peace. Use one of ours as a template and email your ideas to: info@SchooloftheNewSpirituality.com July 16th, 2006 Recently I enjoyed an inviting and intriguing conference call with the deeply committed members of The Group of 1000 along with Neale and Rita Curtis, Executive Director of Group of 1000. We exchanged many terrific questions and sound answers. Though I have some thirty years experience in business and education, our call left me with questions of my own. The overarching one is… How do we "teach" the New Spirituality (NS) in specific words that do not make me look as if I am saying "The School of the New Spirituality is THIS WAY!"?? Currently I am re-reading all of the CwG books and one book sheds light on this query. An inspiring answer for me is contained in The New Revelations book by Neale: "Ours is not a better way, simply another way." Another point in this book reminds me that if I am consciously and continuously growing I can utilize a highly practical set of three self-reflective questions provided in The New Revelations, and you may choose to use these as well. As we are co-creating the School of the New Spirituality, ask if the New Spirituality principle-focused lesson I am teaching is:
FUNCTIONAL?
Consciously empowering as we teach, we can show the functional, adaptable and sustainable template as a way of life, too. How we live could also be a supreme way to model the New Spirituality for our students, family, colleagues - our community. Is this an exact "science?" No. Is NS difficult? No, it feels very natural. Is it simple? Yes,though perhaps not easy for us, especially when speaking it for the first time.ADAPTABLE? SUSTAINABLE? Creating a new paradigm which is a shift in the way we think about ourselves in relation to Life = Love = God, takes some practice in word use. I look forward to collectively creating this way of learning. To me, Life is Learning. Life is God experienced, as discussed so eloquently in The New Revelations. Working with the SNS team has been a wonderful experience for me. I love that I am the first student, in the first SNS school here in Atlanta. I am so happy that I have even been considered part of the staff! Thanks to Mr. Paolo, Ms. Burnham, Ms. Linda, Mr. Gary, Ms. Darlene, Ms. Nancy, Ms.Christina, Ms. Norma, Ms. Sherri, Dr. Adrienne, Ms. Brianna, Ms. Helene, and last but not least my parents for the wonderful encouragement and the consideration for my ideas. Usually adults look at kids speaking up at meetings or around adult conversations, as being rude or interfering. The SNS teaching staff all allowed me into their circle and really respected
me with my ideas and I so appreciated that.
