My Wonderful Experience with SNS
by Bharat Sanders, Age 11
Working with the SNS team has been a wonderful experience for me. I love that I am the first student, in the first SNS school here in Atlanta. I am so
happy that I have even been considered part of the staff! Thanks to Mr.
Paolo, Ms. Burnham, Ms. Linda, Mr. Gary, Ms. Darlene, Ms. Nancy, Ms.
Christina, Ms. Norma, Ms. Sherri, Dr. Adrienne, Ms. Brianna, Ms. Helene, and
last but not least my parents for the wonderful encouragement and the
consideration for my ideas. Usually adults look at kids speaking up at
meetings or around adult conversations, as being rude or interfering. The SNS teaching staff all allowed me into their circle and really respected
me with my ideas and I so appreciated that.
Another good thing that came about with this School was the fact that I started a dream journal. Someone mentioned it as an activity in their curriculum and I felt that that idea was grand. So I started it! Nowadays, every morning that I remember my dreams or feel that the dream is important, I type it up to be looked at later and to check the meaning of the dream. I even bought a dream journal from the Inner Space store. I feel that SNS and its community are splendid and I can't wait to get started with the year!!!
